Dr. Cindy Liu holds a Doctor of Musical Arts from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music.

In 2024, she was invited as a principal guest artist at the International Women Brass Conference.

While serving as the principal horn of the National Symphony Orchestra (NSO), she has toured with the orchestra across Taiwan, mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore, Malaysia, Japan, Europe, and North America, receiving high praise for her solo performances.

In addition to her orchestral engagements, she continues to perform as a soloist and chamber musician. Currently, she is an assistant professor at National Taiwan Normal University, National Taiwan University of Arts, National Taipei University of Education, Soochow University, and the affiliated high school of National Taiwan Normal University.
