Yi-Ju Chen

She graduated from National Taiwan Normal University and received her Master’s degree in Violin Performance from Soochow University.

During her studies, she was invited by the Ministry of Education to perform as a violin soloist at the National Concert Hall. She also performed Saint-Saëns’ "Havanaise" and Mendelssohn’s E minor Violin Concerto with an orchestra. 

In 2004, she toured Taiwan as the soloist for Vivaldi's "Four Seasons - Winter," receiving much acclaim, and in 2005 perform Bach's Double Violin Concerto.

In recent years, she has been active in chamber music, performing with the Lincoln Center Chamber Music Society and attending the Huang Junwen Chamber Music Festival.

She is currently the Second Violin Principal of the National Symphony Orchestra and coaches string ensembles at Hsin-Tien Senior High School, Fu-Xing Elementary School, and other schools.
