Chang-Wen Hung
Hung Chang-Wen holds a Master’s Degree in Violin Performance from Fu Jen Catholic University.
He has participated in several prestigious masterclasses, including one in 2002 with the Principal Violinist of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra, in 2007 with Lev Klychkov of the St. Petersburg Philharmonic, and in 2008 with Günther Pichler, First Violinist of the Alban Berg Quartet. In August 2007, he performed Piazzolla’s The Four Seasons as a violin soloist with the Philharmonia Moments Musicaux Orchestra in Italy. In 2008, he performed the Butterfly Lovers Violin Concerto with the Hunan Symphony Orchestra in Fenghuang Ancient City, a performance praised by audiences and featured by China Central Television and Public Television. In 2014, he was invited by Mayor Patrick Moon to perform at the Chaon Music Festival in France, where his solo and chamber performances received critical acclaim.
