Chen, Chih-Chen graduated from the National Taipei University of the Arts, and studied under Prof. Tsai, Jia-Jung.

He won second place in Trombone College Group A of the National Student Music Competition. He has participated in the AYO Asian Youth Orchestra Music Camp and toured Europe. He has received guidance from masters such as Christian Lindberg, Dietmar Küblböck, and Michael Buchanan. He also participated in the NSO and NTUA "Orchestra Position" program, which provided him with an internship in a professional orchestra.

He has been invited to perform as a guest trombonist with the Taipei Symphony Orchestra and Evergreen Symphony Orchestra. Currently, he teaches at Jhonghe Elementary School and Taipei Fuhsing Private School, and serves as a trombone and bass trombone player with the National Symphony Orchestra.
