INFO
The National Symphony Youth Orchestra (NSYO) made a stunning debut in 2023, receiving widespread acclaim for its inaugural performance. This group of outstanding young musicians not only showcases their talents in large-scale symphonic concerts but also demonstrates remarkable cohesion and skill through chamber music ensembles. In this performance, NSO principal players—concertmaster Hao-Tun Teng, principal violist Grace Huang, principal trombonist Kun-Ying Li, and principal oboist I-Ching Wang—will guide the orchestra alongside harpist Shannon Shuen Chieh and other talented young musicians. The program spans from the classical elegance of Mozart to captivating contemporary works by composers like Jörg Widmann. This concert promises to be a celebration of both the valuable legacy of classical performance and a vibrant exploration of modern musical creativity.
